A few more words about AALS™ LIVE by ResusEdu™

AALS™ LIVE: OR Crisis Thinking is a free virtual anesthesia education event focused on perioperative emergencies, intraoperative cardiac arrest, and real-time clinical decision-making in the operating room. Designed for ICU nurses, nurse anesthesia residents, CRNAs, and other clinicians interested in anesthesia crisis management, this live session explores why OR emergencies differ from ICU deterioration, where standard ACLS may fall short during perioperative arrest, and how anesthesia providers use physiology, hemodynamics, airway assessment, ventilation, vasoactive medications, and rapid identification of reversible causes to guide treatment. Participants will work through practical operating room crisis scenarios and gain a clearer understanding of how CRNAs recognize and respond when a patient’s condition begins to deteriorate. No continuing education credit is offered for this event.

Featuring:

  • Resuscitation considerations specific to anesthesia
  • Practical insight into how anesthesia providers think during emergencies
  • Perioperative cardiac arrest decision-making
  • Perioperative scenarios
  • Live Q&A
